The Story of Petite Story...

I have been a cosplayer for many years, and have enjoyed making costumes I love for myself and others. ^^ In September of 2005, I started watching what was to become one of my favorite anime series, Rozen Maiden, about a set of enchanted living dolls who come to live with a schoolboy named Jun. I so much enjoyed the show that I decided to costume the dress of my favorite doll, Suisei Seki.

In my searches for images and references, I came across several photos of people's ball joint dolls dressed as dolls from the show, and it perked my interest in Super Dollfies and other dolls. I started thinking about cute ideas that I've had that would made adorable doll clothes, and putting to use the skills I've used in my own projects for years. I started asking around my own friends, as I knew there were a few who had BJD, and found myself suddenly and wholly drawn into the community of BJD and their caretakers.

I was informed early on that good-quality BJD clothing can be hard to come by, particularly for the mini sized dolls. So I started in that area, and my first creation was a Princess Serenity cosplay dress for a friend's MSD. That prototype was a success, and I felt confident enough then to open up this shop!

I have many hopes and dreams for doll clothing and costumes of all sizes in mind, and part of my goal with this shop is to be able to make enough to afford the beautiful Twing-Key I have my heart set on. When I do finally get her, I hope to continue to grow the shop, and be able to provide dolls and their caretakers with beautiful, unique, and quality clothing and costumes for a long time.
